Problem

In order to increase the competitiveness of Eocortex solutions, the company decided to expand the functionality of its video surveillance systems by implementing face recognition. However, the implementation of face recognition in complex video surveillance systems poses a problem due to stringent requirements for the hardware of such systems, and this can significantly increase the cost of the project.

The company conducted numerous software tests in various conditions where Face SDK proved to be a reliable and easily scalable solution that does not require high-power equipment.

Solution

The company decided to choose 3DiVi Face SDK because this solution not only provides instant recognition (50,000,000 comparisons per second on 1 CPU core), is cross-platform (Windows, Linux, Android) and can work with various cameras (WEB, wearable, embedded, IP, IR cameras, RGB and 3D sensors), but also can work in completely isolated offline systems.

The company conducted numerous software tests in various conditions where 3DiVi Face SDK proved to be a reliable and easily scalable solution that does not require high-power equipment.

Result

The 3DiVi Face SDK library allowed the development of a face recognition module with high computational efficiency and low requirements for system servers in comparison with other programs. The company received an additional source of revenue. Customers received benefits as well - they can acquire less expensive equipment while maintaining a high level of fail-safety and operational stability. Now this module is used in many projects at checkpoints, in schools, shopping malls, office buildings, as well as in factories and plants. The module provides a high percentage of recognition and can be used in conjunction with the access control system to increase the level of access control at facilities with strict security requirements, for example, in banks or at restricted classified facilities.
By using the 3DiVi facial recognition technology in our products, we were able to present solutions that have numerous competitive advantages, such as low requirements for computing power. In this way, it significantly reduces costs, and our customers can spend this money on development, modernization and further maintenance of their own hardware infrastructure. This makes our products highly attractive to consumers and distinguishes them from the competing solutions.
